Danelle and Charlie talk with Dan Jovevski, founder and CEO of fintech WeMoney. Dan has already had one fintech journey, from founder to exit with SwitchMyLoan, and he’s back for more.
Not a great success at school, Dan recalls a conversation with his grandfather that turned his life around and opened his eyes to what was possible. Many years later, his second startup, launched during Covid last year, raised $2M and is changing the way millennials and others learn about money, from each other.
As a second-time founder, what I learnt probably the most, is that emotional regularity of dealing with really good news, and then really, really bad news, and trying to keep an even keel, and that I think has been really helpful for my own predisposition of startup life…
