You can now get your hands on West Tech Fest (WTF) Early Bird Tickets, so get them before they’re all gone.

WTF, Australia’s longest-running tech and innovation festival, will run from Monday 4 December to Friday 8 December.

Various locations across Perth will play host to an array of festival events throughout the week, including West Tech Women, West Tech Main, West Tech Coast and Freo Startup Fest.

All tickets will be on sale for the following dates unless sold out prior:

  • Early Bird Tickets: On sale from today Wed 11 October to Tues 7 Nov.
  • Final Release Tickets: On sale from Wed 8 Nov to Sun 3 Dec.

The festival gives the local startup and tech community a golden opportunity to engage with and learn from international leaders, who will offer valuable insights on achieving business success.

Rohan McDougall is one of the co-founders of WTF and he says the festival is designed with startup founders in mind.

“We know how hard it is to start a business so from our programming to our pricing, we take into consideration this experience and adjust our planning accordingly, and in addition to this is the way we hero the unique qualities of Western Australia’s natural environment and its startup ecosystem,” Rohan says.

Each year, we hear incredible stories from startup founders who met their next investor, partner or customer and that’s directly attributable to the casual, relaxed nature of the festival.

For the twelfth initiation of the festival, WTF has welcomed the addition of a new event in place of Rotto Tech Fest from previous years.

The inaugural West Coast Tech will be held at Port Beach on Tuesday 5 December, featuring panel discussions, networking opportunities and even kitesurfing demonstrations.

Rohan is looking forward to seeing this new event come to life.

“We’re really excited to be working with an incredible team on delivering this event who are exploring some really unique activations and programming ideas,” Rohan says.

“From Climate Conversations Corner, to a sea dragon snorkelling tour, to having a go at kite surfing, West Tech Coast will really ensure our guests live and feel this year’s theme of ‘Decarbonise WA. Decacarbonise the World’,

“Over the years, we’ve held events in Margaret River, the Abrohlos Islands, Rottnest Island, and now Port Beach, one of the best kite surfing locations in the world. We expect to return to Rottnest next year but if all goes well, West Tech Coast may remain in our weekly program as well.”
