TeamAhoy were one of the first cohort through Amcom Upstart this year, and they’re launching the first public release of their project management software today. Here’s the press release.
Project management tech is a growing industry but Damian Bramanis is confident the people focus of TeamAhoy sets it apart from its competitors.
“Team members are human but most project management software don’t take this into account. TeamAhoy is an application for managers that is simple, and puts people first.”
Without the human element to project management technology managers will not know if their staff members are engaged, motivated or distracted by personal problems.
With TeamAhoy managers will be able to get a landscape view across their whole team and to see everybody’s priorities, provide quick feedback online and add descriptions, checklists, images and attachments to tasks.
“Our software increases communication between managers and their teams so that staff feel they are being heard and managers can give regular feedback.”
TeamAhoy includes a user friendly design and weekly report feature to encourage transparency and communication in the workplace.
Weekly reports allow managers to provide regular feedback and speak with their team members about their priorities, achievements and challenges.
The user interface is more personable, customisable and easy to use.
“Other project management applications can be difficult for everyday managers to navigate but TeamAhoy is for real people. Good project management should be uncomplicated and people focused”
//Startup News asked him about the team’s experience going through the Upstart accelerator, and he said:
“Amcom Upstart was a great boost to help bring TeamAhoy to life. Upstart’s mentors were fantastic, and their guidance helped every step of the way. The biggest thing I learnt? The best way to build the right product was to stop building a product, and go and talk to your customers first.”
Excellent advice, so good luck to the team and we hope to hear more from TeamAhoy.
