Spacecubed takes another step towards world domination by merging with Sync Labs. Here’s the Press Release:

Perth entrepreneurial hub, Spacecubed to begin joint venture with Leederville Tech community, Sync Labs to create a better connected startup ecosystem in WA.

Sync Labs in collaboration with Spacecubed, will today transition into a joint venture model, where the Leederville coworking space designed specifically for WA technology entrepreneurs will be managed by the Spacecubed team to create a more unified startup community in Western Australia.

Spacecubed based on St Georges Terrace will bring with them a highly experienced team in managing successful coworking and entrepreneurial communities, with Spacecubed growing to over 550 members in just 3 years.

Startups from Sync Labs and Spacecubed will now have access to a combined community of over 1000 WA entrepreneurs along with a wealth of knowledge from industry leading mentors to accelerate ideas.

Spacecubed Managing Director, Brodie Mcculloch said “The Perth startup community is rapidly growing and in order to keep up we need to build a truly collaborative ecosystem in Western Australia to a level where it has the inputs, support, people and funding to generate billion dollar companies. Forming this joint venture with Sync Labs is a massive leap in the right direction for Perth.

Sync Labs co­founder, Dr Marcus Tan said “ Since its inception in 2012, Spacecubed has been a shining light in the local startup, innovation and co­working scene. This collaboration will create additional benefits for our respective members and we are delighted to be joining forces with a like­minded team committed to helping grow the entrepreneurial and technology ecosystem here in Perth.”
