An agreement for Liberty to take over operations at the 1,400 sqm Co.Lab tech space on Murray Street has been reached.

As part of the deal, there will be a $3.2 million investment into the hub.

Founded by Bluesky Digital Labs, Co.Lab is a contemporary and technology focused community event and workspace that is designed to facilitate the growth of local innovative businesses.

“We built funky workspace for technology businesses,” explained Rizal Farok, Director of BlueSky Digital Labs.

“However, our core business is software development, not facilities management nor hospitality. To provide even more value to this thriving community we felt it was the right time to hand over operations to Liberty.

Their customer experience focussed approach to operating private offices, coworking, and meeting spaces is second to none and, when combined with our formal and informal networking and existing community, is a collaboration that makes sense at this stage of our journey and for our members.

As part of the deal, Co.Lab will provide a new home for the PropTech HUB WA membership and host the PEXA PropTech Hub WA Awards 2022 and 2023. It will also host the Enconyz PropTech Showdown 2022 and 2023 which form part of the West tech Festival, which will be held in December.
