Featuring Artrya – working to solve the world’s largest cause of death – heart disease.

The morning will feature presentations from Artrya’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer John Konstantopoulos and Co-Founder and Executive Chairman John Barrington AM. Artrya is an emerging WA digital health start-up that is using Artificial Intelligence has developed an AI solution to more accurately identify patients at risk of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) and to guide clinicians in delivering more effective treatment. Their solution provides a consistent, highly accurate diagnosis of heart disease risk in less than two minutes and received Class 1 TGA registration in November 2020. The company was awarded $1 million funding in Round 3 of the BioMedTech Horizons (BMTH) Program, an initiative of the Medical Research Future Fund operated by MTPConnect.

John Konstantopoulos has more than 20 years of commercial and technical experience providing strategic advice to industries such as electronics, healthcare and industrial. He has advised senior executives of some of the worlds and Australia’s largest corporations on product commercialisation, development and digital transformation and has driven growth in markets such as Asia, US and Europe. John Barrington AM is an acknowledged leader in strategy and innovation. He has advised Boards & CEOs of some of Australia’s leading organisations on growth strategies, founded technology innovation companies and facilitated more than 1,000 strategy workshops over 20 years with boards & executive teams.

They will discuss their experience with Australia’s regulatory framework for a digital health product and raising investment in WA, and take questions from the audience.
