What’s West Tech Coast, where’s Rotto Tech Fest gone?

Rotto can’t have WTF in 2023, so we are taking it to the beach. Less hassle with those ferries. It’s going to be awesome.

DECARBONISE WA. DECARBONISE THE WORLD.

West Tech Coast is a new event coming to West Tech Fest 2023, convening on Tuesday 5 December at Port Beach just north of Fremantle, West Tech Coast will blend tech discussions with an immersive beachside experience with our beloved Rottnest Island serving as the backdrop.

Delving into the nexus of technology and sustainability, this exciting new event will feature thought leaders from Australia’s established energy sector, as well as innovative startups and burgeoning SMEs exploring how corporates and startups can work together leveraging technology to assist the global energy transition.

To add a dynamic touch, anticipate engaging ocean tech demonstrations and even a glimpse of kite surfing—melding intellectual stimulation with coastal delights.

Networking? Absolutely, but forget those stiff meet-and-greets. Here, you’ll be shaking hands or bumping elbows with like-minded folks, all with the sound of the waves in the background. Dive into tech chats then dive into the ocean to cool off.

As discussions wind down, attendees can revel in a moment of relaxation – beer in hand, feet in the sand, reflecting on the day’s insights whilst soaking in the coastal panorama.
