Staflr is a web platform that connects business owners and casual staff.
Staflr founders Brian Briscoe, Scott Watters and Matt Vermeulen have created a web platform that allows businesses to fill last minute shifts quickly with their internal staffing pool and the external market.
Live in Melbourne and Perth, Staflr has been operational for over six months with several recognised brands using the product.
Initially businesses across many industries; schools, child care centres, hospitality venues, events companies and supermarkets were using the platform to manage their own staff. The recent release of Staflr Magnet allows businesses to attract new, local and qualified staff instantly, a disruptor in the casual staffing marketplace.
This dual-approach is unique to Staflr and allows businesses to optimise the use of their internal staff whilst having the freedom to call upon the wider market at short notice.
With over 1500 job seekers on the platform, and quickly growing, Staflr is poised to change the casual staffing landscape for businesses in many industries.
Job Seekers have the freedom to create a profile and follow the businesses they want to work at. They can upload a photo and video to their profile as well as their qualifications, resume and cover letter. By working shifts generated via Staflr, job seekers build an employee rating and update their availability, taking control of their casual career.
Briscoe, Staflr’s Managing Director, said:
“We found that employers are fed up with having to fill last minute shifts in the old way. Casual staff are sick of having to chase work through traditional job boards and agencies. We wanted to create a solution to both problems at once. Staflr does this.”
