// Spacecubed has partnered with Mirvac to open its third space in the city – Fern – in Allendale Square (ANZ building).
In what must have been a tough year for co-working spaces, Spacecubed has announced the opening of its newest space, Fern, in Perth.
Occupying three levels at 79 St George’s Terrace, Fern provides groovy new state-of-the-art co-working spaces, resident desks and private offices.
It’s so cool, there’s a meditation room, breakout spaces, luxury tea and the coffee machine is an iPad. Member benefits include Spacecubed’s own proprietorial software, Stripe payments, Google for business and Hubspot for entrepreneurs.
And you can start here for as little as $300/month (2 days a week) or $600 full time.
The partnership with ASX-listed company Mirvac builds on Spacecubed’s established capability of transforming traditional office buildings into innovation hubs, and follows the development of Riff (originally called ‘Spacecubed’) in 2012) and Flux in 2016.
Fern will also house startups from Spacecubed’s Plus Eight accelerator program, bringing the energy of startups to the building.
“We are excited to partner with Mirvac on the new space at Allendale Square as it gives us the opportunity to create a premium offering for the high calibre companies in the building,” Spacecubed’s Head of Strategic Projects, Ophelie Cutier said.

“Workplaces of the future are no longer focused solely on the physical office space, they need to deliver employee experiences that foster collaboration, creativity, ideas, learning and enjoyment,” said Mirvac’s General Manager of Workplace Experiences, Paul Edwards.
“This trend has become even more important following COVID-19 with people missing face-to-face interaction and working as a team. As staff start to return to the office, they are wanting more flexibility and engaging interactions as innovation and collaboration are difficult to achieve while working remotely.
“Partnering with Spacecubed, one of the top co-working companies in Perth, will allow us to curate activity and foster a community at Allendale Square to deliver on these demands”.
Fern leverages Spacecubed’s experience from their FLUX project, a partnership with Hawaiian.
Spacecubed designed and activated FLUX in Parmelia House, a collaborative workspace occupying 3,000sqm over four floors.
Spacecubed now operates five coworking spaces spanning from Mandurah to Yanchep.
