A Curtin Ignition project finds a name and starts a Kickstarter fundraiser.
We reported on Lee’s Ignition project earlier, and he’s teamed up with our very own Amateur Angel, Rafael Kimberly-Bowen, to move it forwards.
The product, sunglasses that convert at the touch of a button to waterproof swimming goggles, is now called Sealz, and you can find the Kickstarter here:

The team is still working towards getting the product into the military, which was the original inspiration behind the project: saving soldier’s lives. But it is also finding applications in a variety of sports, where the attraction of having to carry only one set of eyewear around is obvious.
