// The Noisy Guts Project walked off with two awards, Alerte Digital Health won ‘Startup of the Year‘ and two stalwarts of the local startup scene were honoured by WAITTA…
In a four-hour awards ceremony – book ended by ‘startup industry band’ Blockchain Blues – WAITTA handed out their annual Incite awards to the ‘up and comers’ and top achievers in WA’s ICT industry on Friday night.
At a plush black tie do at the Perth Convention Centre, 550 people watched as ICT Minister David Kelly and iiNet founder – and now professional director – Michael Malone addressed the audience.
Michael admitted he was “trying to move back to WA… as my two boys, now aged 17 and 19, talk to me again.” Adding someone of his ilk to the local startup scene will be a boost, and he has already joined a WAITTA Advisory board and eGroup.
Meanwhile, awards were handed out aplenty.
