A WA Government grant assisting companies to scale up into Asia has announced its fifth round of funding. Round 5 opened on 8 November last year, and the following 12 grant recipients have been chosen:

Unios AustraliaMarket research activity to determine the Asian market(s) that provide the best opportunities for its architectural lighting product and understand the distribution techniques available to access the available opportunities. 
Inspired Living Developments (Polyline Industries)Market research to identify the most receptive Asian countries for its innovative high density polyethelyene plastic product.
CM Bowen and RJ BowenIn-market scoping study to build traction for its innovative hay-fodder product targeting the small pet industry in Singapore.
Byron and HaroldStrategise, plan, market and be represented in the South East Asian region with a focus on South Korea and Singapore, for its range of high quality provenance based table wines.
EB Events Pty LtdA Fine Vines Festival launch activity in Singapore to promote Western Australia’s South West region and facilitate relationships between Western Australia’s wine industry and Singapore’s wine trade, media and hospitality industry.
VetChipEstablish market entry and sales strategy for its ground-breaking animal health monitoring technology in Asian markets such as Singapore, India and Vietnam.
Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre of WA IncDevelop new export market access opportunities and scope linkages for Western Australian creative, textiles, clothing, footwear and leather capabilities with supply chains in Asia.
Food, Fibre and Land International GroupDevelopment of strategy for exporting processed hempseed products to India.
Clandestine VineyardsDevelop a diverse export portfolio into the Asian wine market by embarking on a targeted roadshow to meet with distributors in-market and showcase the diversity of the Western Australian wine landscape to the Asian tourist market and business people.
Delroy OrchardsIn-market scoping study and relationship building activity to  support its market expansion plans to export avocados to Asian Markets.
Rhino HideIn-market scoping study and relationship building activity to support its market expansion plans to export avocados to Asian Markets.
OnetideResearch and understand the broader market potential in Asian markets for its patented and prototyped ‘Rapid Reel’, a shore power management system.
