Your favourite startup news blog (yes, that’s us) is co-operating with the Australian Computer Society, Bloom Labs, and Morning Startup to bring you a new startup event. We don’t have an awesome name for it yet, so it’s stuck with the awkward title of “Tech Co-Founder Pitch Night”.
The event is aimed at bringing the experienced computer professionals and student members of the Australian Computer Society and the tech startup community closer together.
The event aims to educate about startup culture and the role and requirements of a Tech Co-Founder, and how an experienced commercial IT professional would need to adapt to the role, and what they could expect from it.
Startup founders who are looking for a tech co-founder, or a CTO, or just development resources, should definitely attend. There is an opportunity for a limited number of founders to pitch their idea, and there will be significant networking opportunities all night. If you would like to pitch your startup to the crowd to find a tech co-founder, fill in this application form.
The event is being held at the Bloom Labs co-working space at St Catherine’s College near UWA, on Friday 16th October, starting at 6pm.
