It’s the last week in September, and you know what means… Carn you Eguls!
OK, Eagles for the Grand Final. We hope. Well, some of us do.
Before that, it’s a public holiday on Monday. Queen’s Birthday. Well, actually, the Queen was born in May, but WA celebrate it in September. Somewhere, there’s a logic there. Do tell me when you find it. Most other states and territories celebrate this on on the second Monday in June, while Queensland do it on 1 October. I suppose cos WA has WA Day in June, we have our Queens Birthday in September.
Anyhoo, it’s been a long 3+ month wait since early June for the last public holiday, and for whatever reason, we deserve one. So there.
And being in startupland, that means we keep working. And hoping. And attending some startup events …
- Mon – PUBLIC HOLIDAY
- Tues – CRCs, fintech and SMPerth;
- Weds – AC grants info session and 2 meetups at Freo’s ThinkLab;
- Thurs – Design Thinking workshop;
- Fri – nadda;
- Sat – GRAND FINAL TIME!
