WiTWA – Tech for Good

15 March, 2023 @ 5:15 pm - 7:30 pm

$25

Technology is a tool that we use in all factors of life. Join us for a panel discussion on some WA initiatives, some insight on the creators, and what makes them tick. We will explore why Tech for Good often requires people to sometimes go the extra mile, push the envelope and discuss how you can get involved.

Bita Borazjani – PhD Student Working on Assistive Technology – Curtin University

Bita is an academic staff member in the School of Electrical Engineering, computing, and mathematical sciences, and also a Ph.D. student. Her research focus is developing a technology that could educate vision-impaired people on how to use a white cane or guide dog remotely.
