Charlie is a Chartered Professional Mechanical Engineer with a passion for problem solving. In 2014, he founded Metis Design & Engineering to provide high quality engineering services and make new technologies and advanced simulation capabilities available to his clients.
It is important to him that what he does as an engineer has a meaning or impact on the community. So he is always on the look out for opportunities to contribute to environmental, recycling and community projects.
ABOUT GLEN RYAN
Glen Ryan is the co-founder and inventor of the award winning Sunovate PVT technology. Sunovate is solar technology that by day generates renewable heat and electricity and by night renewable cooling.
Glen has over 20 years’ od commercial and technical experience in the energy and clean-tech sector including managing large industrial energy portfolios, founding Bombora Wave Power and being involved in a number of WA based wind farm developments. Glen is passionate and driven to decarbonise all areas of our energy supply.
Glen has represented Australia in the IEA SHC Task60 PVT task force since early 2019, he is also an active participant in many European working groups including Solarheat Europe’s PVT taskforce and the European Heat Pump Association technical working group. Locally, Glen is also an active participant in the RACE 2030 CRC as an industry advisor

Tristan has recently returned to Australia after several years working internationally in Europe & United Kingdom within the tech startup & scale-up sector. This experience has cultivated his strategic planning abilities, tenacity and social & emotional intelligence.
He is also involved with the running of a London Headquartered Venture Building Organisation to help founders successfully start-up and scale-up innovative ventures by providing access to Pre-Seed Capital & a purpose-built global strategy advisor network.
