As an Australian Cyber Week special, this month’s Students of Cyber is open to any students from year 10 and above.
For the 18 plusses, join us for a drink after the main event. Details announced on the night.
Capture the flag for a free ticket and other great prizes thanks to Bunnings.
The web application (http://20.92.94.177/ ) contains a vulnerability noted in the OWASP Top 10:2021. To solve the challenge, access the Administrator portal to obtain the flag.
The challenge can be solved with a Web Browser (Developer Tools), curl or Burp Suite Community Edition. No other tools are required.
No denial of service actions (against the target environment, underlying infrastructure & virtual networks or anything else related). You may be blocked by Microsoft.
No subverting the platform or underlying infrastructure.
Brute forcing of logins or directories, or nmap / vulnerability scanning is NOT required to complete the challenge.
The web application is running on port 80 – note that any data submitted will not be encrypted over the Internet. Do not use any real credentials in this challenge.
Prizes will be awarded to individuals, therefore players must solve the challenge individually.
Please don’t ruin the game for other players (i.e. players should not collude on the solution).
