Learn about Founders Factory $21m fund for WA Startups

Rohan Silva is Chair of Founders Factory WA, the first Australian outpost of London’s leading tech accelerator.

Founders Factory WA has around $21 million to invest in pre-seed and seed stage startups over the next 3 years, and applications for the first cohort are now open!

This event is a chance to learn about Founders Factory and its two startup funding and support programs in WA:

**About Rohan**
Rohan Silva is Chair of Founders Factory Australia, having brought London’s leading tech accelerator to Australia for the first time.

Rohan was previously Senior Policy Adviser to British Prime Minister David Cameron and Economic Adviser to British Chancellor George Osborne, working across all areas of UK government policy.

In this role, Rohan was responsible for key policies to boost innovation in the UK, such as Entrepreneur Visas, Entrepreneur Relief and startup investment tax breaks.

After leaving 10 Downing Street, Rohan was appointed a Research Affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston before founding Second Home, a socially responsible innovation incubator that received over $200 million AUD of venture capital investment and launched campuses in London, Lisbon and Los Angeles.

Rohan is a Senior Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics, and a World Economic Forum ‘Young Global Leader’.
