Mandurah Tech Showdown 2023 is at the Mandurah Offshore Fishing & Sailing Club with a mix of events from 11am to 8pm.

– Core Vision Tech Expo is from 11am to 3pm and we have a bunch of innovators sharing what they’re all about. What they have done, are doing or planning to do and how you can benefit.

– Panel Discussions including Investing In Tech, Raising Capital for Emerging Technology, PropTech Residential, PropTech Commercial, GovTech, TourismTech & AgTech. We have over 30 panellists from government, industry, investment and innovation sharing their insights on these hot trending topics.

– Hemp Squared DIY Wall Demonstrations throughout the day. Iggy & Bec will be demonstrating how to build your own hemp wall so then you can learn how to do one at home or the office. Supplies can be purchased directly from Hemp Squared if interested. Demonstrations are free to participate.

– uDrew Developers Long Table is 12:30am to 1:15pm and open to public and industry. Learn what residential and commercial property opportunities there is within the City of Mandurah.

– Auditions are from 11am to 2pm. Which will be the top 50 competiting to make the top 8. The top 8 innovators are given the opportunity to pitch to the Giants at 3:30pm. Meet the Giants:

Jeff Leach, Chairman of JJ Leach Group. Jeff established the Friendlies pharmacy franchise which was sold to HBF. He retains an interest in a number of pharmacies employing 150 people. Through JJ Leach Group Jeff is committed to helping great ideas get off the ground.

Leeanda Paino, Director of Lorton Investments. Leeanda and the Paino family sold Sealanes to Melbourne based Superior Food Services which are majority owned by Quadrant Private Equity. Leeanda since 2017 has been an active investor.

Gavin Hegney, Director of Hegney Property Group. Gavin is a successful investor and prominent property commentator on ABC. Since selling his national property valuation company to a top 4 bank, he looks at opportunities that has proven market fit.

Julie Drago, CEO of Realside Ovest. Julie launched property fund Ovest Industrial in 2021, with Realside Property. The fund aims to acquire 1 billion of Western Australian Industrial assets. Ovest has currently achieved 35% of its goal.

Carl Holmes established IMG in 2006 expanding rapidly across Australia to be purchased by RTT in 2017. Carl continues to have interests in training & technology as well as other sectors today.
