**FOLLOW-UP EVENT TO INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY**
As a follow-up to our inspiring session on International Women’s Day, we’re offering an in-person, offline event. A simple human-to-human conversation in a beautiful natural setting, in South Fremantle.
**DISCUSSION FOCUS**
Our discussion will centre on what is known as the Great Turning; what Joanna Macy called “the essential adventure of our time: the shift from the industrial growth society to a life-sustaining civilisation.”
How technology is applied in this context is a huge piece of how such a society will be built, and the choices we make (or don’t make!), right now, are likely to profoundly affect the generations to come.
This will be an interactive conversation in circle, led by JP. That been said, as all of us have wisdom, gifts to bring, and roles to play at this crucial juncture in our history as a species, your insights and views are needed to help expand our collective awareness and understanding.

**WHAT TO BRING**
Pick up a tea or coffee at Bistro 21 or the South Beach Café—or bring your own! Feel free to bring something snack-wise to share, or pick something up nearby and join us!
BYO picnic rug or camp chair for your personal comfort.
**WHERE WE WILL MEET**
Come join us under the trees at the southern end of South Beach park at 1:30pm Saturday. We will be close to Bistro 21 cafe so head this way.
Look for a big picnic blanket, smiling faces 🙂 and the WIBWA logo.
Sophie is baking banana bread (wish me well with that :)) , and JP plans to bring hibiscus tea from the garden.
**WHO THE EVENT IS FOR**
Anyone and everyone who is interested in how all technologies (blockchain, crypto, Web3, AI, renewable energy tech etc) are evolving to impact our collective societal future.
Children and teens welcome too.
Kindest,
