We’re currently seeking a part-time journalist to join the team at Startup News.

Startup News is the main voice of the WA startup ecosystem and covers news, events, founder stories, and tips to help entrepreneurs thrive. If you’re a writer who loves startups and entrepreneurship, and would like to write about what’s happening in the ecosystem, then this could be perfect for you.

We’re looking for someone who wants to learn, is proactive and has the initiative to put ideas forward if there’s something they think will make a great story.

This is the perfect position for a young journalist who’s looking to make a name for themselves in the world of business journalism. You don’t need to have a formal tertiary qualification; you just need to have strong writing skills.

The role will be part-time — three days per week — to start with with the possibility to grow into a full-time role.

If this sounds like you, then I’d encourage you to apply or reach out to me for a chat to find out more.
