Vitruvian has been recognised as one of Australia and New Zealand’s most innovative companies. At last week’s AFR awards, the annual Australian Financial Review BOSS list , is based on an assessment process managed by Australia’s behavioural science consultancy, Inventium, in conjunction with a panel of industry expert judges.
West-Perth based Vitruvian ranked #1 on the Manufacturing and Consumer Goods list, from over 700 nominated organisations across Australia and New Zealand. The assessment is based on Inventium’s Innovation Framework which comprises the nine elements science has shown to drive innovation. The assessment also judges the organisation’s top innovation from the previous two years. Specifically, the judges look at how valuable the problem is that the innovation is solving, the quality and uniqueness of the solution, and the level of impact that the innovation has had.
Vitruvian was thrilled to be recognised for their smart connected-fitness product and platform, the Vitruvian Trainer+. Using revolutionary AI technology, this virtual personal trainer adjusts the weight to individual users in real-time, loading and deloading the optimal resistance, without the need for a spotter.
The patented technology includes the Vitruvian app which gives users access to 200+ exercises, classes curated by elite fitness couches, goal-oriented programs, data tracking and performance insights.
“We are so proud to be featured on this prestigious list.” says Jon Gregory, founder of Vitruvian.
“It is so encouraging to see Australian entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs continuing to come up with fresh ideas and executing them. Innovations such as those highlighted in the 2022 AFR BOSS Most Innovative Companies list should help to propel our economy.” said Sally Patten, Editor, BOSS.
