// // 2 Dads from the SouthWest are looking to change mens' attitudes to skin care...

Two Dads living in the Southwest have recently launched a men’s skincare brand after a discussion at the beach in Busselton. SkinBRO was launched in November last year by Asher Vukelic and Mitchell Smilovitis (pictured) and they are both on a mission to encourage all men to take care of themselves, starting with their skin.

Dreamt up in early 2021, Asher and Mitchell spent 18 months researching and developing the products after both admitted they both had sub-par skincare programs.

They now have 3 products that can be purchased in their ‘Essentials Kit’. The line includes a face cleanser, face moisturiser and an all-important charcoal exfoliator; providing what they “a fuss-free solution for men to take better care of their face.”

All skincare products are 100% Australian-made, using natural ingredients and are vegan friendly. To complement the skincare products, SkinBRO has developed some accessories including a drink bottle, towel and travel bag to use alongside their skincare.

SkinBRO is available for purchase online at skinbro.com, with plans to enter bricks and mortar retailers later this year.

SkinBRO will be launching a subscription service early this year to make it even easier not be caught short without any products; and with the added bonus of delivery to your door.

The founders’ goal is not only to create a thriving business and scale, but to educate men on skincare and destigmatise the use of it. They believe that men should prioritise their skincare just as women have been doing for decades. Customers to date have ranged from teen boys to men in their 70’s proving that it’s never too early or too late to develop good skincare habits.

An important part of SkinBRO’s mission is to help you #livebravelybro as they believe in stepping outside your comfort zone, taking chances and living life to the fullest; whilst encouraging healthy and positive masculinity among all men.
