// Spacecubed's AI Fellowship — a three-month, in-person residency for 10 to 12 AI startups across Perth and Western Sydney — closes applications on Tuesday.

Applications for Spacecubed’s AI Fellowship close on Tuesday, June 2nd, leaving founders with less than a week to apply for a three-month residency that includes more than $500,000 in AI software credits and perks, hands-on technical mentorship, and a curated pitch event in front of AI-focused investors and corporate innovation teams.

The program will select 10 to 12 teams to embed inside Spacecubed’s innovation hubs in Perth and Western Sydney, working as a single connected national cohort. Spacecubed describes the fellowship as a “curated 3-month residency for high-potential AI startups building production-grade products,” with the stated aim of moving teams from concept to a validated product in 90 days.

Each accepted team receives more than $25,000 in cloud compute and API credits from Spacecubed’s platform partners, along with access to AI researchers and engineers from leading labs, product teams, and scale-ups. The residency culminates in a pitch event in front of a curated room of AI-focused investors and corporate innovation teams, and fellows join Spacecubed’s broader founder network and alumni community.

Who Spacecubed is looking for

The fellowship targets AI-first founders — startups where AI is the primary value driver rather than an added feature, building core products around large language models, computer vision, or autonomous agents. Early-stage teams moving from idea to MVP to early traction are squarely in the brief, as are technical founders who need high-level compute power and cloud infrastructure to scale their stack.

There’s a location requirement: fellows need to be based in, or able to work from, Perth or Western Sydney for the duration of the residency.

Get your application in

Applications close on Tuesday, June 2nd, so if you’re a founder who fits the brief, you have a narrow window to put a submission together. The program details and application form are available on the Spacecubed website at spacecubed.com/programs/ai-fellowship.
