Meshpoints has launched a statewide survey to gain insights from individuals and organisations into the WA innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem to help guide what needs to be done to shape the future of Western Australia. The survey aims to identify key challenges, strengths, and opportunities for growth within the community.
Nate Sturcke, Head of Impact at Spacecubed, commented “Western Australia’s innovation ecosystem is built on collaboration. This survey is an opportunity for everyone involved — founders, mentors, investors, and supporters — to have their say in shaping the future of our community. By sharing your insights, you’re helping us understand what’s working and where we can do better.”
The more voices that participate in the survey, the more likely it will be that Meshpoints gains meaningful insights outside of the normal voices whose input has shaped the ecosystem so far. This survey provides a platform for those on the ground to voice their experiences and needs.
The survey includes some general questions about the innovation ecosystem and your experience with it, from how it’s helped to foster collaboration opportunities to whether you believe WA is the right place to progress your idea.
If you’re a founder, investor, or part of the startup ecosystem in some way, you should consider participating in the survey — it takes less than five minutes to complete. Your honest input will help to shape the future of WA’s innovation ecosystem. The survey is completely anonymous so you can be as honest as you want to be.
As an added incentive, if you participate in the survey, you’ll go into a draw to win one of five $100.00 VISA gift cards.
What is Meshpoints?
Meshpoints is a collaborative network of organisations and individuals who are aiming to grow a thriving innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in WA. It was launched by the Spacecubed Foundation in July 2022, supported through a $5.9m grant from Lotterywest.
By fostering alignment, knowledge sharing, and community-driven projects, Meshpoints plays a key role in ensuring that innovators and entrepreneurs receive the support they need to succeed.
Since 2022, Meshpoints has provided over $2.24m in grants across 81 projects aimed at increasing support for innovators and entrepreneurs across all sectors and regions of WA. 160 organisations — including venture capitalists, government agencies, incubators, and philanthropists — are now part of the Meshpoints partner network.
