Northbridge-based mobile app development company, Apps People, has recently launched a new mobile application called Blezz. Blezz is a platform that allows registered users to donate unused objects from their houses to people who may put them to use.

The app is available on both the iOS and Android platforms and is free to download. Blezz aims to address the issue of waste and help those in need by encouraging people to donate items they no longer use or need.

Foody Bag and Blezz founder (and last year’s Startup News Founder of the Year) Stuart Kidd, believes that Blezz will make a positive impact on both the environment and society.

We wanted to create a platform that not only reduces waste but also helps those who may have less. Blezz provides an easy and convenient way for people to donate their unused items to others who may need them.

To use the app, users need to register and create a profile. They can then list the items they wish to donate and add a description, photo, and location. Other registered users can browse through the available items and request to receive them. The donor can then choose whom to donate it to.

Blezz also offers a range of features to make the donation process as seamless as possible. The app includes a messaging system that allows donors and recipients to communicate.

The app’s interface also includes a search function that allows users to search for specific items they may need and a mechanism to save searches and be notified when something does get posted that they are interested in. Blezz also includes a rating system that enables users to rate their experience with other users, helping to build trust within the community.

Blezz be upon you!

Replacing Facebook ‘Buy Nothing’ groups by allowing people to search for stuff, not just wait until something interesting is posted, Blezz is an initiative that provides an easy way for people to donate their unused items without having to spend hundreds of hours trawling. The app looks to help people reduce waste as well as promote community engagement and support those who may not have access to certain items.

If you’re looking for a way to declutter your house and make a positive impact, consider downloading the app and start donating today. Blezz you!
