Presentation & Storytelling Skills for Tech Professionals

8 May, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Presentation & Storytelling Skills for Tech Professionals
WADSIH and Visagio are partnering on this workshop to help you develop engaging communication skills alongside persuasive content creation.

Want to keep your audiences engaged whilst maintaining your train of thought during presentations?

This workshop is perfect for both junior and well-seasoned tech professionals who wish to develop their communication skills alongside persuasive content creation.

Engaging communication skills and persuasive content creation are arguably the most important parts of a good business presentation. They constitute invaluable tools that can help strengthen the messaging to your audience.

Led by an experienced trainer from Visagio, participants will learn how to:

  • understand the importance and mechanisms behind building good presentations.
  • determine the context: who the audience is, what is the setting, and how to draft an appropriate storyboard/ghost deck.
  • organise their ideas following the pyramid principle and how to build a captivating story following S-C-Q-A and A-F-I frameworks.
  • apply simple tips and tricks of how to make your content more aesthetically appealing – the dos and donts of formatting.

The trainers will be by your side the whole way to guide you through and provide feedback to help you improve.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Notebook/pen to make notes (laptop if you wish).
  • Morning tea provided.
  • Free WiFi.
