Join the conversation with Lawley Pharmaceuticals Founder, CEO and Medical Director Michael Buckley. Founded in 1995, Lawley Pharmaceuticals is a Perth-based privately owned company specialising in the research and development of transdermal testosterone and progesterone creams for men and women.

Their mission is to establish naturally occurring hormones as cornerstone treatments for diseases such as breast cancer, infertility, sexual dysfunction, male hypogonadism, type 2 diabetes, primary ovarian insufficiency (early menopause), osteoporosis and postpartum depression.

The company’s products are manufactured in TGA-approved facilities located in Perth, Western Australia. The company has established strong links with centres of medical research excellence around the world and continues to push boundaries in this rapidly expanding area of medicine.

About our Speaker – Michael Buckley

After a 16-year career in the pharmaceutical retail sector, pharmacist Michael Buckley turned his focus to understanding the role and effectiveness of bio-identical hormones. Once convinced of their superiority over synthetic alternatives, he founded Lawley Pharmaceuticals in 1995 to produce and license pharmaceutical grade hormone creams to meet a global unmet clinical need.

As CEO and Medical Director, Michael has overseen Lawley’s research and development, clinical trial, regulatory and marketing programs for Australia and international markets.

Michael is a member of the Australasian, the British and the International Menopause Societies, The Androgen Society, The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, and The Pharmacy Guild of Australia.
