Stronger Together: Connecting & Belonging through Sports

20 August, 2025 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Stronger Together: Connecting & Belonging through Sports
This forum explores how sport plays a powerful role in building community, intergenerational relationships, and sense of purpose.

Join us for a compelling discussion at our upcoming SDG Forum titled ‘Stronger Together: Connecting & Belonging through Sports.

Hosted by West Coast Eagles, this forum will spotlight the unique role of sports in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This forum explores how intergenerational support plays a powerful role in addressing one of today’s quiet crises: loneliness. As digital connectivity increases, emotional and social connection is declining — especially across generations. This session brings together voices from sport, community, and policy to explore how we can reweave the social fabric and create places of belonging — from football fields to neighbourhoods and boardrooms. Featuring expert speakers and engaging panel discussions, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how sport has given people connection, purpose, and belonging

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this Forum. Register now to secure your spot!
