ONLINE: How to master the art of Bootstrapping

26 August, 2020 @ 6:00 am - 7:30 am

Not all startups are venture backed, and Australia has a history of successful entrepreneurs who bootstrapped and created global companies (Atlassian bootstrapped for 8 years). The focus for founders who bootstrap is on sustainable and profitable growth and the ability to maintain a control of their destiny.
  • James Cuda , Savage Interactive who brings you ProCreate, a multi award winning app for creatives used by massive companies such as Pixar and Netflix to create storyboards and art. Procreate is currently No.1 in paid iPad apps and Procreate Pocket is No.3 in paid iPhone apps.
  • Lachlan Donald , Buildkite, who just announced  AUD $28 million in Series A funding valuing them at $200M. For many years they had turned away interested investors because they wanted to focus on sustainable growth and maintain control of their destiny.
  • Noelle Smit , Teamgage the modern alternative to culture & engagement surveys, responded quickly to the global pandemic and launched a new survey and analysis tool ‘ the Ready to Use solution’. Which has added 1,200 new users to the platform in the first three days of launching.
  • And Matt Allen , Pick & Shovel, who is empowering founders to take a different path with their revenue based investment fund.
