Pitch practice is on again! We’re giving you, the upcoming new startups of Perth, a chance to practice your pitch in front of the non-intimidating and supportive Morning Startup audience.
**Why pitch?**
Because clearly communicating what your startup is about is an essential skill that only gets better with practice. Every pitch will teach you something about the way you tell your story, allowing you to refine it so it has an even bigger impact on the next audience.
Pitch registration is now closed, but we try to host these events every four months or so, so keep an eye out next year!
**The startup lineup!**
We have a packed line up of eight startups practicing their three minute pitch. They are:
* **[TeacherEA](https://teacherea.com/)** (Paul Kamarudin)
AI assessment creation, marking, and analysis for teachers.
* **SYNC WA** (Percy Ryder)
Taking the FOMO out of FIFO.
* **[Harvy](https://harvy.au/)** (Stuart Riddle)
AI automated logbooks for transport companies.
* **All 4 Property** (Tuvia Khusid)
Simplifying property management.
* **TechBridge** (Matt Ainsworth)
Helping potential founders transition out of their job into entrepreneurship.
* **[CryspIQ](http://crysp.com.au)** (Dan Peacock)
Making it easy to derive insights from Data.
* **[Coursebox](https://www.coursebox.ai/)** (Alex Hay)
Create a course in under one hour with AI.
* **Ardarth Energy** (Curtis Hunter)
Water for the wheatbelt. Greener grass than the bloody WACA.
**The plan**
Each startup will get exactly three minutes to pitch (they’ll be clapped out at the three minute mark), followed by a couple of minutes of questions and feedback from a special guest, and the audience.
**Only three minutes? WTF?!**
Yeah, that’s right. You’ll need a clear, succinct pitch that clearly communicates who your customers are, the problem your solving, your unique advantage, and/or anything else that communicates your startup’s value — all in under three minutes. It’s totally doable.
This also allows more time for insightful questions and feedback (the useful stuff!), and gives more startups the opportunity to have a go!
Here’s [a handy one-page pitch tool](https://seedproof.com/seedpitch/) to help you gain clarity on your messaging, and who can forget this awesome presentation from Perth’s own Josephine Muir on [how to pitch like royalty](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNm3PWocUjw)!
