Four things* are guaranteed to mess up your startup or your attempts to scale up. They impact every team and hijack you and your team if you ignore them.
In this Morning Startup session, James Bryant, Director of [Lead Different](http://www.leaddifferent.org/), will dive into four key areas which, if left to their own devices, will create a mess for any startup or, even worse, strike hard during the scaleup phase.
It doesn’t matter if your startup is in the tech space, resources, or whatever space you’re in. The issues we’re exploring today are about the team and culture that your startup or team operates in.
We’ll dive into these areas and discover how to put systems in place to prevent the f#ck up before it happens. Because the clickbait title isn’t accurate, we’re actually going to explore how to *avoid* f#cking up your startup or scaleup.
**yeah, there are more than four things, but today we’re going to talk about four things that are linked and work together to f#ck your startup.*
**About James**
James Bryant has enjoyed a multifaceted career, including being a professional musician, professional basketball player and coach, teacher, pastor, IT company owner, gym owner, and more. This experience has given him unique insights into how cultural differences in teams are often the main factor determining success or failure, leading him to his role as a cultural architect and director of Lead Different.
For over a decade, Lead Different has helped organisations and teams to create a culture where people thrive. They work with solo operators and Fortune 500 companies to tailor programs and workshops to make real and lasting changes in the workplace. Teams with a healthy culture grow faster, achieve more, and have more fun.
*James will move mountains and dive into impossibilities with one thing on his mind: to create a space for people to grow and discover a higher level of performance.* **Joby Harris – Visual Strategist NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory**
