Business Breakfast: Insights from a Teacher turned Entrepreneur

13 March @ 7:15 am - 9:00 pm

$33 – $44

Stirling Business Association’s resumes its Business Breakfasts in 2019 with Sharon Grosser, co-founder of SEQTA, a local education tech company that is now found in schools across the country. Sharon will be sharing her own experiences as a high school teacher turned entrepreneur – ‘warts and all’. No sugar coating in this presentation!

As Sharon and her husband developed the business from the kitchen table to now employing 75 staff, Sharon will explain their ‘why’ and how that is now a significant differentiator in the market, where they got their money from (when the mortgage ran out) and how they actually grew the business by building the team. Sharon will also share with us the impact of business and financial pressures can have on relationships and mental health.

Our breakfasts are relaxed and informal and Sharon’s story will enable you to learn from other people’s mistakes as well as inspiring you to consider what’s possible. Sharon will be encouraging questions from the audience so be prepared for an interactive and engaging start to your day.
