🔹 The Hon. Michael Mischin – Former Attorney General and Minister for Commerce
The Hon. Michael Mischin is a lawyer and former Member of the Western Australian Parliament, where he served for 12 years representing the North Metropolitan Region. During his tenure, he held key roles, including Attorney General and Minister for Commerce, and also when in Opposition, Shadow Minister for Heritage, Culture, and the Arts. Michael has extensive experience in public policy, legislation development, and managing complex legal and governmental issues. A long-time advocate for innovation, he supported initiatives like the WA Innovator of the Year Awards. Currently, he is a Director at Innovate Australia, fostering collaboration and promoting Western Australian innovation on a global scale.

🔹 Deputy Lord Mayor Councillor Bruce Reynolds
Cr Bruce Reynolds is a dedicated community leader and small business owner with over 30 years of experience contributing to the City of Perth. Currently serving as Deputy Lord Mayor, Bruce is committed to fostering growth, innovation, and inclusivity in Perth. He brings extensive experience from diverse fields, including property, marketing, branding, and hospitality, and actively supports not-for-profits and charities as a board member, chair, and volunteer. Passionate about serving his community, Bruce focuses on initiatives that enhance Perth’s reputation as a vibrant, world-class city while addressing the needs of its residents and businesses.

🔹 Dr Sandy Chong – Chairperson, ASEAN Business Alliance
A member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Expert Network and Chair of the ASEAN Business Alliance, Sandy is an award-winning International Business Executive of the Year, Asia’s Top Sustainability Women of the Year, and Singapore Management Consultant of the Year. Appointed Ministerial Advisor on Innovation and Digital Economy in Western Australia, Sandy brings over two decades of cross-sector expertise to public-listed firms, industry councils, and governments in the APAC region. A strong advocate of trade and sustainability as pathways to peace and security, she speaks on AI governance and digital transformation at the Davos Agenda for Women in Tech, AI for Good Global Summit, and most recently at the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) first conference on AI.
🔹 Philip Wu is the Founder and CEO of Grid Synergy Pte Ltd
Philip Wu is the Founder and CEO of Grid Synergy Pte Ltd, established in 2012, focusing on learning media and Ai. He also serves as the Secretariat and Co-founder of the Family Office Alliance, a network of European and Asian family offices. With a background in Technology and Finance, Philip has held positions such as Director of Content at Singapore Telecommunications Ltd, where he launched mioTV, and managed a US$100 million equity fund for Southern Africa at SG’s sovereign fund – Temasek Holdings. His extensive experience spans Ai-enabled learning, entertainment, and communications, making him a prominent figure in the AI and digital education sectors.
🔹 James (Kayliang) Ong, Founder & Managing Director, Artificial Intelligence International Institute (AIII)
James (Kayliang) Ong is the Founder & Managing Director of the Artificial Intelligence International Institute (AIII), an AI think tank advocating for sustainable and ethical AI to address global challenges. Co-author of AI for Humanity: Building a Sustainable AI for the Future, James leverages over 38 years of experience in enterprise technology, digital transformation, and venture building across Asia, the US, and Europe. He collaborates with global institutions like SUTD and NSCC Singapore, focusing on AI governance and innovative applications. As a thought leader and speaker, James is dedicated to advancing AI for societal benefit and promoting cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Stuart Riddle is the Managing Director of Knkt Digital, a product studio building AI-first SaaS products tailored to accelerate business growth and streamline operations. As co-founder of claras.ai and harvy.au, Stuart combines over 20 years of experience in digital strategy with a passion for innovation to solve industry challenges at scale. He is a recognised thought leader, frequently sharing insights on leveraging no-code solutions, AI, and product-led growth to drive success. His leadership and vision make him a key figure in the AI-driven business transformation space, inspiring businesses to embrace cutting-edge technologies for a competitive edge.
🔹 Schellie-Jayne Price, Partner, Stirling & Rose
Schellie-Jayne Price is a Partner at Stirling & Rose, where she leads the firm’s AI practice, specialising in emerging technologies and their legal implications. With over 20 years of experience in international resources companies, she has advised on multi-billion-dollar projects, mergers, and acquisitions. Schellie-Jayne’s expertise extends to founding and leading global innovation teams, and she is recognised for her leadership in legal technology. She serves on advisory boards, including the WA Data Science Innovation Hub, and lectures on law and technology. Her practical understanding of AI and legal frameworks positions her as a trusted advisor in this evolving space.
The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Hon. Michael Mischin.
