You may have noticed a move away from glossy and glamourous advertising to brands telling more stories.

Sometimes those stories are about where they came from. Other times they are the stories of their customers.

This move towards storytelling is based around a very human tendency to trust others who both have the credibility and the empathy to really connect with us.

But what is the structure of a business story? How do we put it into our advertising, our websites, our social media and our everyday interactions with customers?
