Listed aged care tech company InteliCare has announced a partnership with Victorian-based in-home aged care provider, Like Our Own.

The boutique care provider will harness the Leederville-based company’s technology to gain a deeper insight into clients’ needs and personalise their services accordingly.

InteliCare’s home-monitoring technology combines discreet camera-free sensors, artificial intelligence, and trend data to enable aged care and NDIS providers to detect and prevent health risks and falls.

In partnering with the innovative tech company, Like Our Own aims to enhance staff capabilities and identify changing client needs as they occur.

Data insights offering a solution to staff shortages

InteliCare’s sensors will collect client data and display data trends to enable Like Our Own’s staff to make well-informed decisions and create customised care plans.

Like Our Own continuously strives to champion Australia’s ageing population by empowering them to remain active members of the community, while continuing to explore their talents, passions, and skills.

Alec Tarshis, Like Our Own Founder and CEO

“The integration of InteliCare’s smart technology moves us closer to this goal by arming us with the data needed to provide excellent client care. I look forward to seeing the positive results that this investment in innovation will have on our current and emerging clients,” said Mr Tarshis.

InteliCare is also offering its technology as a solution to workforce shortages, an issue that remains rampant in the aged care and disability services sectors.

The home monitoring system allows staff to quickly make observations from evidence-based data, negating the need for 24/7 staff rostering that would achieve the same results.

The technology also enables staff to focus on providing thorough care by removing the need for administration and data entry tasks, and will allow Like Our Own to expand their client base by streamlining processes.

Alongside optimising care plans, InteliCare will assist Like Our Own in attracting new clients by offering their families a greater understanding of their health and activity, a drawcard for many families who are unable to visit regularly.

This partnership is a further example of InteliCare’s ability to create efficacious solutions for home care providers across Australia.

Jason Waller, InteliCare CEO and Managing Director

“Our continuous investment in problem-solving technology, which is designed to combat industry-wide obstacles, ensures that we can secure nationwide partnerships with industry leaders such as Like Our Own,” Mr Waller concluded.
