StartCon, the largest startup and growth conference in Australia, has teamed up with Australian venture capitalist firm Right Click Capital to launch a $1 million pitching contest across Asia-Pacific.
Over 600 finalists, 15 cities and 400 investors will gather across Asia-Pacific for a $1 million investment. Startup founders will have the chance to pitch their business in front of judges, investors and other entrepreneurs and startup founders.
The Perth conference takes place on 31 August 2018 at Tank Stream Labs, startups that are not able to attend the event can submit a pitch via video. The finalist from each city will be flown to Sydney for the finally at the annual StartCon conference on 1 December 2018.
In a statement made on 22 May 2018 Benjamin Chong, Partner at Right Click Capital said “We’re excited to partner with StartCon… and look forward to helping the local startup eco system level the playing field with its US-based counterpart.”

The event isn’t only limited for founders of startups and investors. Attendees get to hear the pitches and from other founders and investors who have ‘been-there-and-done-that’.

General and pitch admission tickets are priced at $100 and investor admission at $200.
