Local Perth startup, Tap into Safety, is building a mental health app for youth, and are looking for corporate sponsorship to help make it a reality.

Sue Bahn, Founder of Tap into Safety, says “Essentially we are developing the range of early intervention mental health applications off the Tap into Safety software platform.

We have completed All of Me Workplace and are currently marketing as an annual license and usage model. We are rolling it out in Perth High Schools in partnership with SETQA and this starts as a freemium model for 6 months and then into a low annual license.”

They were one of three winners in the Start it Up WA Challenge and received $20K to build a mobile phone version of All of Me for Parents and to begin the writing of the All of Me Care app for workers in care professions (GPs and counsellors).

The All of Me Parent app will be ready in Jan 2017 and will be free for iPhone users. The Parent app allows the parent to assess their own mental health status and that of their child’s. It teaches what mental health decline looks like, what to do about it and where to go to for help using some selected service provider recommendations. It is a world first in the way it delivers the information and assessment and the provision of a validated third party assessment for mental health.

The Problem

  • Reduced academic and social development due to mental health issues
  • Suicides increasing in young Australians
  • 75% of those struggling with mental health issues don’t receive the help they require

About All of Me

Looking after your mental health is a part of everyday life.

Through early intervention and utilising familiar technology, we gauge, offer strategies and improve one’s mental health.

Using in-house software development on the back of clinical research we develop mobile applications for all stages of life’s journey.

The ‘All of Me’ Software Platform

All of Me is a range of specialised mobile applications for students, parents, workplaces and those in positions of medical care (e.g. doctors). Using animations and customised scenarios the applications provide a convenient, engaging and secure way to tackle mental health topics.

  • All content is informed by world-class leading expertise
  • Engaging, interactive and modular
  • Custom animations and scenarios of pertinent issues, e.g. bullying
  • Redesigned DASS-21 psychological assessment tool developed by the University of NSW into an animated game to encourage engagement
  • Secure, safe and anonymous
  • Reports and analysis to uncover trends and improve decision-making

To enable the app to reach as many youth as possible, they are looking for some corporate sponsorship to extend to android phones. If you know someone who can help, please get in touch with the All of Me team.
