WAIITA has been holding the annual INCITE awards to recognise outstanding performance and contributions by members of the ICT community in Western Australia. This year, for the second time, they have opened a Startup category.

The Western Australian Information Technology and Telecommunications Alliance (WAITTA) – through the WA Branch of the Australian Computer Society Inc. – has been conducting an annual award since 1991.

INCITE spans ICT excellence across 10 awards recognising individual achievement, product innovation and project excellence.

The INCITE Awards provide opportunities to both the companies at the cutting edge of technology innovation as well as leading professionals across the industry to be recognised and celebrated.

INCITE StartUp of the Year Award

This award is open to companies in the early stage of commercialisation that are high-growth, high-risk ventures that set out to find a scalable business model in a large market.  They have a strong technology component in order to facilitate the ambitions of rapid growth.

In order to be considered for the Startup award, you must meet all the following criteria:

•    The company must meet the eligibility criteria for WAITTA INCITE Awards;

•    Company registration must not be more than 3 years on 1 January 2016;

•    The founder of the company and/or the product developers must still be the
significant shareholder(s) of the company; and

•    The company must not be a subsidiary of a well-established parent company.

Submissions close on 31st March and the gala dinner presentation will happen on the 24th June.

You can submit your entry here. For further information contact Nilesh.
