Talk of the town is our weekly post of links and tidbits that we hear about, that we don’t have time to write much about. TalkOfTheTown

  • Fat Hen are having their launch night on Thursday 10th July 2014. Read about them here and get along to get funded, or invest in a startup.
  • A little birdy told us that Business Foundations won the management contract for new the Joondalup co-working space. The name is yet to be confirmed, but some exciting news is coming.
  • The Curtin Ignition Program still has scholarships available, female founders especially needed. Visit the Ignition site to learn more.
  • Apparently there’s a new co-working space in Leederville that just opened, but I haven’t heard any details about it yet. Anyone know more?
  • StartupOvation planning is well underway. Good expression of interest and sponsorship so far. To get on the mailing list, head to www.startupovation.com
  • Uber Perth made an impact at Morning Startup this week. Has anyone given them a shot yet, and did it live up to the hype?
  • GeoMoby(winners of the Korean Global Hackathon) just got back from the Mondelez International’s Mobile Futures Pitch in Melbourne this week. They hope to hear how they went next week.  We will keep you posted.
