Launchcode PR, Perth’s first boutique tech PR and communications consultancy, this month joins Perth’s innovative startups at trendy co working space, Spacecubed.
Founded and directed by Shahirah Gardner, a PR executive with recent Silicon Valley experience, Launchcode PR launched in March this year in response to Perth’s growing tech hub and lack of industry specific marketing and PR resources available, particularly for startups.
Having worked for award-winning tech PR agencies in San Francisco with early stage startups to multinational clients such as Splunk,Recommind, Lexalytics, Stanley Healthcare, Life360 and Wharton Business School; Shahirah applies her intimate knowledge of the tech sector, challenges and trends, to develop highly visible PR campaigns to drive brand awareness and media exposure.
Shahirah has worked with renowned business, finance and tech reporters across the US, securing client coverage in publications including TechCrunch, GigaOM, VentureBeat, Bloomberg, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes, among others.
Launchcode PR is currently advising a number of Perth tech startups including iKoast, Postcare App, Mineler and Mig 33. iKoast was featured on Channel Nine News when the app launched in March.
Shahirah is also a mentor for this year’s Perth Founder Institute Program.
