Atomic Sky Tech Hub Update – 10th April 2014

This weekly update is brought to you by Arna from Atomic Sky. We will be following their new space in Northbridge over the coming months as it comes together and launches. Take it away Arna.

“Another week has passed and more exciting developments have been happening at the Atomic Sky Tech Hub. Tradesmen have been and gone and finally we have torn down the wall on the top level and re-built and sectioned the space where we will hold all our training sessions and the video production room. The green screen will be coming in the following weeks so we can start creating cool content at minimal cost for the Tech Hub community members.

The security crew have been and gone and now we have a fully functional security system setup as well as CCTV installed. We can even view live streaming on our phones (being in tech means you have access to all sorts of cool stuff) and PCs to keep an eye on the happenings from absolutely anywhere.

We are also in the process of developing our training sessions that will focus on areas such as – How to Pitch, Finance & Cash flow, Opportunity Evaluation, Market Validation, Business Valuation, Exit Strategy and Marketing & PR. However we are always interested to know what YOU and the community want. Feel free to send us an email with particular course topics that you would like to see featured.

We will be looking for people who are interested in delivering some of these training sessions and can add value to the above areas, so if this sounds like you get in touch!

Now that the cat is officially out of the bag about the Tech Hub and all its offerings we have had plenty of interest from those who want to take some space on the 1st floor. We have even had a few people come pop in and visit, but for now all viewings are by appointment whilst the work is happening purely for everyone’s safety.

However, if you are itching to get a look at the Tech Hub we will have our first Open Day on the 30th April 2014 and you can find out more info here and sign up to attend. (Hint: There may be homemade lemonade and choc chip cookies).”

Thanks Arna, looking forward to next weeks’ update, and to getting a peak into the new space!
